Statistical Education for Biologists
Abstract
Biological research is undergoing a crucial paradigm shift towards computationally involved analyses which require exhaustive understanding of statistical theory. Unfortunately, this paradigm shift is not mirrored in how biologists are educated. With this talk, I share my grievances with as well as opinions on how to improve the current system.
